We’ve done it again: Winning Double Gold-medal in San Francisco, the largest and most competitive sprits competition in the world! Also Tår was awarded Gold in its first year of competing. No doubt I am proud now!
Les meir om tildelinga her.
Fjording is in “testutvalget” at Vinmonopolet for the next 6 months. That means greater distribution than ever. The period was kickstarted with superb review in Dagbladet and “top of the liqueur list” at Apéritif :)
We’ve done it again: Created a beverage that no one else in Norway has commercialized before. This time it’s coffee liqueur. And the product is called TÅR!
Sjå lista i bloggposten.
(Text in Norwegian): Ein fjordhest kan ha fem ulike fargar.
Fjording will be sold with gift boxes before Christmas this year. The design process has been fun - now we hope the production and packaging will run just as smoothly.
Finansavisen published an article about Fjording this weekend. As a business newspaper they naturally focused on financial matters. I think they had a broad and thorough covering of our company.
Fjording won Gold Medal in the world’s largest and most prestigious spirits competition this year; San Francisco World Spirits Competition! See list of the other top notch brands we’re competing against.
Many social settings where Fjording is natural to drink, and a natural gift to bring, hasn’t occurred during the corona lockdown. And the hotel- and restaurant market has of course dried out. However, we don’t complain. We’re doing alright (but are longing for parties).
A nationwide research shows that our bottle design speaks better to one specific age group. Further, 2% of the population in Norway above “drinking-age” have tasted Fjording. What do I make of these facts?
We continue to win gold medals! I wasn’t sure we would dare to compete this year, but now I’m glad we did. A nice surprise in these worrisome corona times.
Her er lista over dei verdige mottakarane.
Innovation Norway and a large delegation from the Norwegian food and beverage industry brought Fjording to the Grüne Woche fair in Berlin this month. The only problem; the bottles were emptied too quickly :)
Fjording is climbing on the “Top 500”-list at Vinmonopolet. 7000 liter sold is more than many well-known international brands, and our climbing speed is like a rocket. Wonder what it will be like for 2020?
(Text in Norwegian).
Our idea is to number each bottle in a strict ascending order. But we have to admit; we mixed up a little bit this season. It just got too busy. Not a big deal, but something to improve in 2020.
The production volume of Fjording has never been higher than now. The guys at the distillery are working heroically to secure that a record breaking number of Vinmonopol stores will receive their Fjordings before Christmas.
