Last year, Fjording didn’t compete in any competition. It didn’t seem important during the pandemic, like so many other things.
This year however, we filled a casket and sent our two liqueurs to SFWSC in San Francisco. The world’s largest and most prestigious spirits competition.
We’ve had great success with Fjording there before. But I guess it’s human to chase new recognition. So, we were excited to see if the judges still approves for Fjording, and not at least find out what they think about our new coffee liqueur, Tår.
The results came back, and we honestly couldn’t hoped for more:
Fjording won a Double Gold Medal (like in 2019), a medal that only the absolute best products in the world receives. Every judge in the panel needs to rate the product to gold standard to qualify for this honor.
Tår won a regular Gold Medal. Also a great achievement. Meaning the liqueur is amongst the top products in its category.
Not bad for a small company from Norway, If I may say so :)
