(Text in Norwegian). Det har vore eit spennande 2019. Vi kom greitt ut frå hoppkanten i fjor, hadde problem over kulen på nyåret, men fann etter kvart ei lovande flytestilling. Den traurige starten på året vart gradvis erstatta med oppturar. Her er oppsummeringa mi ved inngongen til jul.

Our idea is to number each bottle in a strict ascending order. But we have to admit; we mixed up a little bit this season. It just got too busy. Not a big deal, but something to improve in 2020.

The production volume of Fjording has never been higher than now. The guys at the distillery are working heroically to secure that a record breaking number of Vinmonopol stores will receive their Fjordings before Christmas.

We won! “Best Alcohol Drink” in 2019. So inspiring! Being recognized by industry experts is so cool.

Fjording has been listed as finalist in the “Best Alcohol Drink”-category in World Beverage Innovation Awards 2019. Exciting! And the important person behind that achievement is my good friend Ole Tom.

Fjording have signed a partnership agreement with United Brands which improves our marketing- and sales operations, and also gives us more distribution power. An exciting step for our brand.

October started with a very pleasant Fjording-review by Aftenposten (in Norwegian). Erik Gulbrandsen is absolutely spot on here :)

The ANUGA-fair in Köln/Cologne was our debut on the international stage. Useful experience, and hopefully it will lead to something concrete. And if it doesn’t?

Malakoff Rock Festival chose Fjording as their liqueur alternative this year. 152 bottles flew out.

NRK visited Gardsbrenneriet and interviewed both Jann Vestby and me this summer. Being on air with Reiseradioen was really fun. Wanna hear or see the shows?

“Would you like a Fjording cream liqueur while sailing into Trollfjorden?” Such a wonderful sentence, I think. Fjording and Hurtigruten started a partnership this summer.

We wanted to reduce the risk of spilling cream liqueur on the bottle (and elsewhere). Therefore, we now introduce new corks – with a pourer included.

This summer we’re launching a small bottle version of Fjording Hazelnut Caramel. The 20 cl version will be available for the Vinmonopol stores to order from July 5th.

A double Gold medal in San Francisco World Spirits Competition says it all: Fjording is one of the best cream liqueurs in the world. Pretty mind blowing, I must admit.

OHOI, the coworking space we are joining, has found a new building downtown Oslo. And we have moved along.

The donations to the Fjord Horse Community for the cream liqueur sales in 2018 are ready. A total of 45.000 NOK is to be given to enthusiasts around the country.

Fjording’s production partner Gardsbrenneriet invited me to join their booth during the Spis & Drikk-fair in Oslo Spektrum. Thanks for the opportunity - and what a great experience!

We’re doing some experiments these days. On new cream liqueur versions that we hope to launch in 2019. We have focus on our fruity recipes of course, but also one outsider; the brown cheese.

Fjording has had its first visit to the US. Lots of great feedback on our first product. And lots of inspiration for a future entrance into this market.
