My seven year old daughter recently got the following homework assignment from school: "Make a list of 5 items you've got in the fridge. Write a heading which fits".
My daughter obviously opened the fridge and found several of Dad's samples.
First word in the list, under the charming heading "i skjøleskapet har vi:", was cream liqueur.
My girlfriend felt this had to be explained to the teacher. So she added a note saying I was building a cream liqueur company.
Cream liqueur is indeed a "guilty pleasure" when the need to explain its presence is so strong ;)
However, the note reminded me of a picture I found in my Twitter-feed recently: An example of homework far more urgent to explain. Enjoy!
